Greatest park around i wish it wasn't 3 hours from home i would be their every day. Ron and all the other people that run the park are the nicest people ever and are always ready to help you anyway possible if you need anything.

Awesome people that run this place. The trail leading back to the campgrounds is nearly 2 miles that aren't flat. It's a neat experience just getting down there. The trails are really fun but are fairly narrow at several points. Would recommend a special trip for any off-road enthusiast in the Midwest.

I attended Fall Crawl with the Tornado Alley Cruisers TAC, a local chapter of the Land Cruiser Association This was my third year attending the Fall Crawl. Its an open even they hold annually so you can drive whatever rig you want and do not have to be a LCA member. Flat Nasty hosted the event and I believe it is the second or third year TAC has come back in a row. The park has plenty of trails with varying difficulties. Camp area across the road is nice for a few trailers and they have a house you can rent. Tent camping could be better if the ground wasn't so rocky but a tarp and a good pad or air mattress works out just fine. Trash dumpster is accessible as well as porta-potties. This was my first time at this off-road park, and my overall impression is a good one. I will most likely make a trip back here.
